Requirements

  • ▸Python 3.10+
  • ▸TryHackMe account (free or premium)
  • ▸Claude API key from Anthropic
  • ▸Linux machine or VM with pentesting tools

Install

pip install alienrecon

Verify the install:

alienrecon --version

Configure

Set your API key and TryHackMe username:

alienrecon config set claude-api-key YOUR_KEY
alienrecon config set thm-username YOUR_USERNAME

Run Your First Room

alienrecon start lazyadmin

AlienRecon connects to your TryHackMe session, deploys the machine, and starts walking you through the room step by step. It runs real tools, explains the output, and teaches you to think like a pentester.
